DESCRIPTION: The Latah Creek Bridge – a grand span over Latah Creek on Sunset Boulevard, connecting Spokane’s downtown area via Browne’s Addition to the West Plains and beyond. The bridge, on the National Register of Historic Places, was completed in 1913. It has seven Roman arches – two being 150 feet, two at 135 feet, one at 128 feet and two being 54-abutment or approach arches. The length is 1020 feet, and the height is 150 feet – the bridge contains 33,800 cubic yards of concrete.
CONDITION: Used; mailed – 1917. Corner bumps and edge wear
