Casa Diego, located in Madrid is where hand-crafted painted  fans with lace have been sold since the 1850's.This fan was bought in this store fifty years ago and is in it's original box and is in pristine condition.Princess Leticia and Princess Di had them made in the same shop and carried them on the days of their royal weddings.
Five generations have been making and perfecting their techniques in the making of fans, parasols, and walking sticks.They really are exquisite and I was so happy to learn that the store is still flourishing in Madrid at this time.If you appreciate the finer things in life....this is one of them.
