    Description

    Antique 19c Chinese Hardwood hand carved Mask of Empress adorned with elaborate headdress.
    Great condition for its age with only a couple small chipped edges on the bottom back of her hair(pic3). About 7"x 4.5"x 3". You can see in the photos that she is beautifully and deeply carved with bovine bone eyes that seem to follow you as you move.
    It has been leaned against books as a shelf sitter but you can add a hook on the back for hanging if you would prefer. It would make a great addition to a mask or carving collection.
    A really pretty piece!
